BNCC
BNCC known as (Bangladesh National Cadet Corps) is a govt. organization which
make future leader’s, who can lead the nation in future. Or make them self as
a perfect citizen of the country. It starts its journey in 1928. The past name of
this organization is UTC. In 1943, the name of the corps was changed to
University Officer Training Corps (UOTC). And the UOTC cadets took part
of the war of liberation in Bangladesh. After independence, Bangladesh Cadet
Corps comprising college student, and Junior Cadet Corps comprising junior
student, were formed in addition University Officers Training Corps. On 23
March 1979, University Cadet Corps, Bangladesh Cadet Corps, Junior Cadet
Corps all united Bangladesh National Cadet corps. There are 3 wings of
BNCC, Which are Army, Navy and Air Wings. Bangladesh National Cadet
Corps (BNCC) is composed of 5 Army regiment, 3 Air regiment and 3 naval
regiment.
Every cadets of though wings make them perfect by heard training.
National Cadet Corps conducts its activities with the aim of imparting
military training to young people in order to develop them as a supporting
force for the defense of the country, providing a second line of defense in the
wake of external aggression, and developing volunteers for responding to
various national disasters.
A cadets belonging to National Cadet Corps is entitled to voluntary
participation in the month-long Victory Day Camp, Central and Annual
Training Camp and military training free of cost. Cadets also enjoy
recreational facilities like participating in excursions, picnic, sports, cultural
competitions and foreign tours.
